Revenge of the Nerds, Part IV
One of the benefits of writing for the Best Blog OC 2010 is that they let you write anything you want.
And so I present this: the final moments of my alma mater Cal Tech’s great victory over the sad geeks at Occidental College. It’s been 25 years since we won a league basketball game. In that time we have produced 9 Nobel laureates.
Oxy. Part-time school of Barry Obama and intellectual womb of Chris Norby.
Well, it’ll probably be another 25 years ’til my homies win another conference game, so please indulge my enjoyment.
Hopefully Norby will score a victory on redevelopment reform, with the passing of time anything is possible.
Ha! Cal Tech will win another basketball game before Norby ever wins a victory on Redevelopment reform! Oxy loser.

Yes, but the team members might still be “scoreless”.
I know nothing of these rivalries so I looked it up. A 310-game losing streak? It’s almost a shame they had to break it.
Sorry to dissapoint Lap Band Dan, but I am more in tune to this victory than a rock outfit from Beantown (MIT SUCKS)!
But, I digress: From the grave Arnold O. Beckman rose breathed (and then sighed after his legacy was sold). Long Live the Cal Tech innovation that shaped the past 100 years!
