The Definition of a Cover-Up

FFFF had a chance to sit down with councilmember Bruce Whitaker to let him explain how the police department and city management deliberately withheld critical information and misled elected decision makers in the immediate aftermath of the Kelly Thomas death.

As you listen, be sure to reflect on the atmosphere of fear and distrust that permeated Fullerton in the weeks immediately following the murder; remember that we were told to remain calm and patient, and that we were to trust our leaders who supposedly had access to all the information that we did not.

Later we found out that our leaders knew nothing, and the city let accused killers roam free with badges and guns while we were kept in the dark.

  1. Our department warned the public about a very dangerous sex offender by the name of Antoine Denell Jordan who moved in our midst.

Sure some of you may ask why the FPD went after this guy and ignored the 70 other offenders living in Fullerton but the truth is those guys only touched a kid or two which is pretty harmless but Antoine Jordan committed rape which is a massively huge difference.

So show the department a little respect will ya?

    1. All repspect gone! Murder and then try to hide it, push it to the side, whatever you want to call it. All respect gone!!!!! Just what fedupwithmorons said. Earned not given. Those days of given went by the wayside in the 50’s & 60’s. The police should be informing the public when they murder and when they molest. They did not! I’m not sure about you, but I (and probably most people) dont need Mr. Whitaker to tell us what we’ve known since July, although it’s always reaffirming to hear it from someone who steps in it on a daily basis. Look if you can really have faith in any of these institutions run by those that are running it at the moment, you are fooling only yourself. This type of behaviour

      1. Behavior (sorry for the mistype) is running rampant right now as we write and its time it all ends. More and more are becoming aware that it all starts local, so these clowns running this PD & the city better wake up or retire. That means you city manager and the interim Cheif of police.
        Spit!

    2. Whitaker is a Bafoon and we all know he is the one giving out confidential info to ffff! Whitaker is hoping for the recall for his own personal gain! So was this meeting at bootleggers brewery??? We all know they are both drunks!

  2. Not our fault. The lawyers told us that we should tell the council that they should tell us to leave them in the dark so they don’t have to think about anything.

Plus that Whitaker one is a sunofabitch who would go an tell the public how bad we really are at this whole running a city thing.

    1. Ooops! The cat’s out of the bag… It’s the cops, the lawyers, and Mr. City Manager!

  3. Bankhead’s gotta go. It’s amazing to me that the last election we voted in “term limits” for council members and YET voted in Bankhead. I will never get over the shock of how we, as Fullerton residents, can do that. Please people…wake up.

  4. SherBear :I like Bruce and I have more respect and admiration for him after seeing this.

I are you kidding..Brucie baby is a dummy. He runs around his words and says nothing. Cause he knows nothing.
He wants to see the video and what he should be saying is. Wait everyone until the trial gets started. He has no commone sense. He has no common sense or brains.

    1. Personally, I have no desire to see the video. I don’t think I can take it. I also feel at this point, it’s best left out of the public’s view until a jury gets it.

However, I appreciate Bruce’s viewpoints and that he spoke out. I’ve run into both him and Sharon around town and they always take the time to find out your thoughts and suggestions. Like them or not, you have to appreciate this.

As I previously said about Sharon’s new position as Mayor, we can hope a good job is done and speak out if not. Have you ever addressed your problems with Bruce to him? Just curioius.

    2. I blame secret societies for ruining our government and country. Politicians are afraid to express genuine thoughts and emotions out of fear they will anger their masters.

      …So mote it be.

    3. No, no one has to wait for the court proceedings except officers of the court.

The court is not the ultimate reality. What actually happens on the street is reality. The court is the place where issues can be dealt with, hopefully with impartially and in a manner that truth is promoted and lies disproved.

Before a court case can ensue, there have to be plantiffs, there have to be defendants, and there have to be witnesses; all of who have to have their lives changed by a real circumstance to the point of making their court appearance pertinent. Therefore, for most, a court case is not something one waits for, but rather the last and latest part of an issue. It is something to officially vindicate canges one has already made in one’s lives after an experience. This is why reporters ask people involved in court cases if they have achieved “closure”.

Keep in mind that in United States government, the courts are only one of three equal branches of government. The executive and ledgislative branches will sometimes demure to allow the courts to accomplish their role, but to wait in inaction for the courts to make their slow, final decission is dereliction of duty.

  5. He’s honest enough to say that it’s more than odd that he has been given no information and wrong information….. something the rest of them should be wondering about too……..

  6. http://www.suntimes.com/news/crime/9418062-418/north-chicago-police-beating-tasing-caused-mans-death-suit.html

The family of a North Chicago man who died a week after his arrest sued North Chicago police officers Tuesday in federal court, alleging excessive force and brutality.

Darrin “Dagwood” Hanna, 45, died on Nov. 13, a week after North Chicago police subdued him with Tasers during his arrest. For 20 minutes in his own apartment, he was beaten and shocked for 20 minutes, according to the lawsuit, which also names the sixofficers involved: Tristan Borzick, Gray Grayer, Marc Keske, Brandon Yost, Arthur Strong and Jayson Geryol.

“They beat him, Tased him to the point to where his mother couldn’t recognize him in his face and had to check his feet,” Kevin O’Connor said Tuesday after filing the suit.

O’Connor said Hanna was brought out of his apartment with a sheet covering his face and was then taken to the hospital, where “he died seven days later as a result of his injuries.”

  7. ok respectfully, can i get back in the conversation here.
    He sure sounds scared.

really we need to see the tape. TRANSPARENCY

it is so important that we really get our town back.

this is so sad, for a free people, a people not terrified about what the police or the corrupt are going to do to you. or you.

    .
The lovely Sharen Quirk silva , also looked scared when she was sitting between bankhead and mckillingly looked worried.

I feel somthing the scooby doo and his gang needs to unmask

    sad.

  8. there. i can.

I feel sad about how scary and lie filled all of this is.
We NEED TO SEE THE TAPE, and
    we need, need, need TRANSPARENCY

    more later.

    so sad

  9. also i feel that the lovely Mayoress Sharen Quirk-Silva has her work cut out for her, and she needs to be strong, now that she has those deadly men liars all around her.

We all need to do the right thing.

    speak truth to power,

  10. What bothers me at around 10:08 when Whittaker replies “I havent gotten that far”

When it was adressed – had he asked to be given a chance to see the video if he would committ to not discuss it.

As he answers the interview questions I see a lack of fire, zeal. enthusiasm, emotion in Mr Whitaker-Im left wondering where’s the passion for answers to these questions that everyone wants to know about

… and that he, being in the position he’s in, is privy to a whole host of sources/information that a regular person doesnt have access to.

  11. The only cover up I know to be true is the one on Thompson’s head. Man that’s a bad dye job. Do you and Shawn Nelson use the same hair dresser, inquiring minds want to know?

      1. Nope. Didn’t notice until Justice For All said something about me deleting my posts. Then just saw a few disappear. Oh well. I tried..

  12. Reality Is :
JFA. You are right. Most of my posts do get deleted. Never realized that. Oh well.

That’s messed up. I thought everyone here was free to speak their mind.

  13. This situation on Fullerton bring forth the very big question of : why is it necessary to hold closed meetings with the exception of matters concerning national security?
Closed meetings by public officials are always of suspect to the general public.
The Brown Act was a starting point and needs to be expanded to include ALL meetings conducted by public officials.

  14. So much fraud going on, another reason this State is broke.

Los Angeles County and state investigators arrested 15 people today, including a Chino Hills woman, on suspicion of stealing more than $250,000 in public assistance payments.
The suspects fraudulently collected funds for In Home Supportive Services and CalWORKS, a welfare program, officials from the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office said.

One suspect, Corrina Martha Luna, 50, of Chino Hills, has been charged with one count of grand theft and 47 counts of forgery for allegedly engaging in IHSS fraud. She listed her sister as an IHSS provider for herself, her husband and son. But Luna’s sister said she never provided services for any of them and was unaware of Luna’s activities. Luna collected more than $13,300.

Luna and two other defendants are expected to be arraigned Wednesday in Los Angeles.

Investigators sought another 17 suspects who engaged in public assistance fraud.

    1. Reality is he State is broke because the politicians sold out to the public employee unions, most notably those mislabeled “public safety.” 🙂

  15. Maybe this is what FFF needs? Get 3 20 year olds to get into office and see how they perform?

At just 22 years of age, Jeremy Yamaguchi is the youngest person in history to be elected mayor of the city of Placentia, the OC Register reported. And if not for county records lacking former leaders’ age, he may even be the youngest ever in Orange County.

“It’s record-setting, and uplifting in addition to being an honor,” Yamaguchi told the Register. “But it’s the same job if you’re 70 or you’re 22.”

Yamaguchi first joined the Placentia City Council three years ago at the age of 19. During the election to fill three seats, he beat out seven other runners to receive the most votes of any candidate.

Two-time Placentia mayor Connie Underhill casted her mayoral vote for Yamaguchi, who will finish up his final college credits Friday to earn his degree in political science from California State University, Fullerton.

“He tries very hard to be well informed and seek out information to make up for his lack of practical experience,” Underhill told the Register. “He’s done pretty well with that.”

Yamaguchi’s citizen engagement reaches back several years prior to joining the City Council, according to the city’s website. He’s been involved in Placentia’s Neighborhood Watch program, Cultural Arts Commission and Chamber of Commerce.

The young mayor still lives with his parents, but his stacked schedule would suggest he rarely gets to spend time with family as he serves on several committees and boards.

    1. This is going to end in failure like most towns that elect young mayors.

The major problem is no one respects or takes a young kid as mayor seriously.

The young mayor still lives with his parents

      …yeah.

The issue is not age but corruption and incompetence. I can tell you that it will be very easy for some developer or group to throw $500,000 at a mayor who still lives at home with mommy and a daddy (if he has enough pull …because again people don’t take young authority figures seriously).

    2. He can be a very intelligent and well meaning young man……..but, he doesn’t have the life experience to put it all together correctly yet…He still lives at home, , how is he going to know how the issues and problems will effect the day to day life of the people in his city? How will he judge which things will improve the quality of life for all citizens, when he hasn’t been out in the world yet? He hasn’t been able to develop perspective because he’s always been taken care of……

  16. Got this from a buddy today. Thought it was pretty good.

Granted, many of these agencies are helpful, BUT our government says that the only places they can cut expenses is Police and Fire….YEAH RIGHT!!!

It doesn’t matter whether you are a Democrat, a Republican or Independent. This list is shocking. Over the years, our politicians have created this enormous pork barrel of agencies that employ over 350,000 people directly and countless more via contracts with the State. All of these people get salaries, medical coverage and pensions at our expense and almost all are unionized. Take a good, close look.

AND WHY ARE ANY GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES UNIONIZED ANYWAY??…afraid the government is going to turn into a sweat shop?…YEAH RIGHT!!

    Unbelievable?…………No…Believe it!!!

      1. You can apply to become a Fullerton Cop!! You will only get 3% at 55 now though, but at least it’s something! 🙂

    1. I’ve seen this before. It’s utterly absurd that state government is this bloated! So, someone tell me, how does this once great State get turned back to fiscal solvency? It’s obviously one party rule in Sacramento, so how does this get fixed?

      1. I don’t think it can be fixed. Look at the federal government. We are an in debt world, and we will be in debt forever. The only way things will balance out is if all employee groups are cut in half. That will get us close. Problem is no one has the balls to make those cuts, but they have to. The next year or so will be interesting for sure. Frickin mortgage BS caused the majority of it. We all knew it was coming, and it did, then it killed half the population with debt. What a mess.

    2. You always try to kill a post. Off topic spamming is an act of desperation. You represent law enforcement? You sure don’t respect anyone else.

    3. What we really need though is a pie chart showing what proportion of the budget goes to what. I’m guessing California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation is an awful big slice of the pie. Thank you drug warriors.

  17. In the above posted video, Chris Thompson asked why the surveillance video of the Kelly Thomas murder was not released. My own opinion is that city officials feared what might have occurred had the public seen the contents of the video after news reports began to tell of what happened. They apparently learned from the Rodney King incident that you do not release video evidence of what took place at the hands of authoritarians of the state. Let’s be real about this, the Rodney King beating was shown over and over in TV news reports and the officers involved were exonerated during the State’s prosecution, even though millions of people saw what took place.

    1. the piggies did not release the King tape. They wouldn’t even take it, it was released by a citizen. sound familiar?

  18. Anonymous :
You always try to kill a post. Off topic spamming is an act of desperation. You represent law enforcement? You sure don’t respect anyone else.

Sacramento is the reason why the Fullerton City Council couldn’t openly discuss or address the Kelly Thomas incident.

  19. Why would the city leaders cover up something so outrageous.
they were conerned of the liability against the city. In this day and age it seems like liability is the driving motivation for the way many of the organizations and politics operate. If a jury of our peers greatly penalizes a city for the actions of a few for a large sum… so be it , let them be bear the weight of their actions but let us do the right thing as leaders . Its better to stand up for the right action and let the chips fall where they may. “The right road will lead to the right place.”

  20. This is why the recall has validity, because the three are playing on a defensive position of weakness, hoping that the problem will just solve itself. They were not willing to take rist.In a way they seem to be doing the same as Sellers. This snowballing case was probably a surprise to them when they saw it wasn’t going away. To speak up now would just bring to light their inaction early on and one would have to wonder if thier efforts at this point where really genuine.
Is there one city leader that is genuinly outraged over this?

  21. ICELAND overthrew THEIR government.

they stood at the front door to the city hall and they banged pots and pans together for 7 months , the ass hole mayer / governer / president / and his cronies and fraudsters , threw their hands up and and said ok. the people have spoken ,

plus their society isnt soley based on fear and greed , like ours is .

    and they walked out .

the people elected 25 individuials , a farmer , a homeless guy, an artist , a fireman , a hot mom or two , maybe some hunky icelandic fireman, etc etc , and they were the elected body that began governing and , working on making society work for EVERYONE, not just FAT FACE BANKHEAD or nicey nicey douch whitiker,

  23. but really did you have to kick the mayors parking sign into a thousand pieces, on his night to step down.

    um

    well ….no,,,

    yes…

    1. did you have to kick the mayors parking sign into a thousand pieces, on his night to step down.

Did you have to fondle those women in the back of your patrol car?

  24. my deepest gratitude for the brave: Tony Bushala., Travis Kiger, Chris Thompson, Fullerton city council member Whitaker. These four men refused to let the truth die with Kelly thomas. For human decency to be restored to our town, these men must continue to fight for our right for honest, representative government and recall Jones, Bankhead and McKinley.
And after the recall, we, the good people of fullerton, must fight to see these three reprobates prosecuted for aiding and abetting the murder of Kelly Thomas

  25. Why does this interview look like it was filmed in an underground bunker?

Come on Admin! Get some nice paint on those walls!

  26. Chris, you look like shit! Looks like you could use another drink.

What a waste of time. Whittaker did his typical job of saying alot without saying anything. He did not give ONE fact in the whole 12 minutes and the fools that follow him think he is great. Thank God there are only a few of you.

      1. Hey, how come it was OK for the OCTA to release that video of the bus witnesses?

The whole “hide the video” game is BS.

          1. REALITY IS TONY RAW-COCK-US SAID KELLY WAS FIGHTING FOR HIS LIFE, THATS REALITY.

            HEY REALITY DIAL 1-800 REALITY

  28. It is interesting that Bruce Whitaker does not realize the parallel to the First Recall of 1993. I had chaired a special committee of the local chapter of United We Stand, and was instructing the members as to how to analytically break down and reconcile a “budget” to after-the-fact “financial statements”, and also in the peculiar differences between conventional proprietary or “for-profit” accounting and “fund accounting”, which latter is used in governmental and not-for-profit accounting. Barbara Henderson, then the Director of Finance, stonewalled and refused to let us have the detailed budget report which underlay the published or bound-volume budget. That act of cover-up, combined with what the special United We Stand committee had already discovered, caused five of its six members to become the five directors-proponents of the Fullerton Recalls Committee. Bruce Whitaker was one of those five who investigated the budget, ran into a cover-up, and then proceeded to sponsor a recall.

Chris Norby eventually got us the detailed budgetary document. By then, the recall was in “full swing”.
It is possible to get the video tape now, I believe.

  29. Stone Age Bankhead :He can demand intelligent, honest cops. It will never happen.

So he sees the video, then what? He can’t do anything about what is in that video. He is not the judge, he is not a lawyer, he is not part of the judicial system. So he cant do shit. Even if he sees the video. So stop crying about seeing the video big sloppy baby.

    1. What? If Whitaker saw the tape like Rackacuckas did, Whitaker would have said “Holy shit! Why aren’t those guys on leave yet?”

As it was, accused murderers were on duty for 4 weeks longer than they should have been.

  30. merijoe :What bothers me at around 10:08 when Whittaker replies “I havent gotten that far”

Because the police or the judicial system doesn’t have to show him or anyone the video. It’s an open investigation. So he is not eintitled to see anything that might compromise the outcome.

    1. There’s nothing that legally would have kept the city from releasing the video. The cops release crime videos all the time when they can’t find the suspect.

      1. Well they are looking at it from the point of view that if these officers are guilty, the integrity of the judicial system will be called into question. So the question is, as activist, how do you guys work with certain members involved in this situation to ensure justice is served with out tearing down the entire system. You have to think like the judge, its his system, his tentacles are all ready out dealing with this situation internally. I can bet on it.

      2. Exactly. There’s a law for us and a “law” for them. The 3 Dried-up Dinosaurs want you to believe that they couldn’t do anything (except pop off when they felt like it).

  31. whitiker , is probably not much of a monster ,

actually , bankhead , was so mad that he stepped down , he went outside and kicked his own sign.

    bo ya

The police do not release murder investigations..who are you kidding.

Stop slandering our noble police department.

  33. Why not simply Subpoena the video, what is stopping Ms. Anyonewhowantsit from just submitting an action with a subpoena attached? It exists; anyone can demand to see it.

I’m not saying that having an Apple Air makes you stupid, but it does put you in a class with screaming baristas, so wired up on caffeine that they don’t know where they are, much less that they are not the center of the universe. Clueless, they blithely squawk on, and on, and on, as if anyone among their captives is attempting to listen. And there you sit, with your peers, scrolling though the ‘touch pad pond,’ head in ‘the cloud,’ as if anything out there isn’t gooey glamour, and gutless glitz. It’s an illusion; a magic show; an act for fools swimming in swill; dimwits who think that because it smells good it must not be excrement: “It’s effortless, it feels right: it must be meant to be! To thyne own self be true,” they exclaim to the heavens, adopting an eternally sophomoric epistemology. A tip for the capricious, and the easily led along, on a lark: Disruptive enough to hold the floor? It won’t make you important. 34. It is good to see at least some people in the US stand up to the police abuse that they police get away with everyday in the country. Most people are scared to death of the police–perhaps rightly so because most people do not want to get killed, beat up, tased or harassed by the police–and would not dare be as outspoken as you guys are. I honor and appreciate the courage of all the folks at Friends For Fullerton’s Future.

    2. freetibetbooks.wordpress.com had this to say: “I looked for the comments that ‘Reality’ illudes to in which people on this site advocated agression toward cops, I didn’t find those comments. If you look in the Federal Reporter section of the law library, where the civil police brutality precedent cases are, you will find that the defendants always claim their victims “say they can beat cops in fights,” when in fact it’s a convenient myth spread by bully cops, ‘in reality’ arrestees don’t say that; the reality is pretty much what happened to Kelly. Police work is the culture of confabulation. As long as cops can put on white hats and blame their victims there will be more victims. And they can always do that, even here, cops have no off-switch when it comes to lying about their victims. Warms the heart doesn’t it.” -Carolyn

    3. We don’t “do what you are told.” This isn’t an authoritarian regime yet. (oops, wait the indefinite detention thing just passed the House in the Defense Bill and Obama won’t veto it. I guess it is an authoritarian regime).

The point is – and where is my handy list of “minced oaths” when I need it – Mr. Anonymous, you can take your “listen to the police and do what you are told” bullspit and shove it up your porcine ..uh.. cash. Odds bodkins!

I see that Reality Is Hamilton’s (aka Ffff tard, etc.) alter ego is still in denial of the truth. It must be time for another recap of the horrors that Kelly Thomas suffered on the night of July 5, 2011.

Kelly Thomas, an unarmed, mentally ill, innocent man, who was cooperating as best as he possibly could – was THREATENED with a vicious beating by Officer Ramos. Then, Officer Wolfe struck Kelly Thomas on the leg with his baton; whereupon, Kelly tried to run AWAY in fear for his very life. Next, Kelly was thrown to the ground and his head was violently smashed into the concrete curb.

The officers then put Kelly Thomas into a deadly choke hold; several officers then dog piled on top of Kelly Thomas, crushing his chest. All the while, the officers punched, kicked and beat Kelly, breaking his ribs and collapsing his lung. Kelly’s lung filled with blood. Kelly told the officers that he couldn’t breathe. The ocean of blood beneath Kelly continued to grow larger and larger.

Kelly was kicked and kneed in the head, his hair was pulled, he was beaten with batons, punched, repeatedly tasered on his chest and back, tortured, crushed, suffocated and MURDERED by six overweight, armed, trained, merciless officers, -all the while, Kelly Thomas begged for his life, said he was sorry, and screamed for God and for his Dad to help him.

As Kelly struggled in fear, and in extreme pain, TO BREATHE, TO LIVE, AND TO PRESERVE HIS OWN LIFE, -the more the merciless officers were determined to brutally, violently and permanently silence Kelly’s cries for help. Kelly’s pleas for mercy, and for his life, were in vain.

Kelly was methodically and violently bludgeoned in his face with the butt end of Cicinelli’s Taser, EIGHT times,- breaking facial bones deep within Kelly’s skull. Cicinelli knee dropped, twice, with his full body weight onto Kelly’s face and neck, crushing Kelly’s windpipe.

Cicinelli tasered Kelly repeatedly. Kelly’s crushed nose and the several broken facial bones deep within his skull caused massive bleeding, which caused Kelly to choke on his own blood. All of this happened AFTER, AFTER, AFTER Kelly had already been rendered UNCONSCIOUS.

The officers did not render any first aid to Kelly Thomas. The paramedics waited for more than 15 minutes before finally transporting Kelly to the hospital. They were waiting for a supervisor from the FPD to arrive on the scene before transporting Kelly, -but the paramedics finally decided they couldn’t wait any longer. Kelly’s heart stopped twice on the way to the hospital. At the hospital, Kelly was declared brain dead.

Cicinelli, the one eyed cop, bragged to the paramedics about the severe beating that he had given to Kelly Thomas. Later, Cicinelli was also heard bragging in the FPD locker room.

Was Cicinelli afraid that the unconscious and massively bleeding Kelly Thomas, with his crushed face and his broken ribs, collapsed lung, smashed and kicked head, swimming in an ocean of blood, was really going to get up off the ground and threaten any of the bullet proof vest wearing officers?? Were the trained officers really that afraid of one unarmed, half naked, underweight man?

No, the only person who was in fear for their life that night was Kelly Thomas, -and with very good reason. The officers fully intended to severely beat, torture and murder Kelly Thomas that night, and they did exactly that.

The FPD immediately closed ranks and formed themselves into their brotherhood’s thin blue line of solidarity and silence, -almost without exception. Preservation of their jobs and their pensions came before any integrity, honor or truth. Serving and protecting THEMSELVES comes before serving and protecting the citizens that they have SWORN to serve and protect.

Reality Is Hamilton, Ffff tards, and all of his other sick alter egos, continue to try to tell us that Kelly’s brutal, horrific torture and murder,- was not murder.

However, Kelly is DEAD, and I don’t believe that Kelly killed himself that night. I also don’t believe that the officers killed Kelly in self defense. I don’t believe that an unarmed, UNCONSCIOUS man can be a threat to six large, vest wearing officers,- in ANY way, shape, or form.

  41. Reality Is :
Of course this is your version and the FFFF version of events. YOu will learn the actual, fact driven chain of events at trial.

I can’t wait to see how you will spin the murder of an unconscious man.

  42. Jane H :
“YOu will learn the actual, fact driven chain of events at trial”
    Laughing out loud!!!!!

Jane, you are so right. Tragically, dead men can’t speak in their own defense against their murderers. Thank heavens for the many witnesses and the videos (even though the pole video has very likely been tampered with). We do know, for a fact, that the officers colluded and watched the pole video before writing and continually re-writing their reports. (Whether that is standard procedure, or not, – it happened.)

We also know that the officers involved have had six months on paid leave, (so far), to further collude, – synchronize, embellish and memorize their version of the “fact driven chain of events.”

Yes, the officers’ blue line of solidarity, silence and self-preservation, even at the cost of their own integrity and honor -is still very much alive and very strong.

However, you can also observe, by the constant posting on this blog 24/7 by an on-duty, paid officer and his alter egos, (a chief no less), that they are very worried about public opinion. They know that the truth WILL CONTINUE to be revealed in court, despite their collusion. They know they can’t possibly put a positive spin on murdering an unarmed, innocent, unconscious man, -six very large, bulletproof vest wearing, armed and trained officers against one small, unarmed, half naked, mentally ill man who was screaming in agony for mercy and forgiveness. “I’m sorry, God, Help, Dad! Dad! Dad!” The officers watched while Cicinelli bludgeoned Kelly Thomas to death.

FPD is very worried that in THIS case, a dead man WILL be able to speak from the grave. God bless Kelly Thomas and his family. And, may God bless all of us, especially until we are able to root out the evil in the FPD and in our government. And, until we root out all those, who by their silence, condone the torture and murder of Kelly Thomas.

    1. Will you at least admit that you consider yourself an Activist? Your lies are never ending and that’s the MO of a hardcore activist so they can spark more interest.

You realize you have lost steam, almost complete silence outside of FFFF so your lies are becoming more common now, almost every sentence you type.

I understand people like you. They get zero attention and zero credibility. Do you find that Chiefs or city leaders shake their heads at you as you talk like they are listening but nothin you say ever happens? Lol 🙂

      1. It sounds to me as though the truth REALLY bothers you. You should send out for some more donuts; perhaps that will calm you down. However, I suggest that you might want to skip the Starbucks.

        1. Nothing bothers me. Truth will set you free. Truth clearly bothers you since you refuse to say truths, but always lie. You ever find that your lies catch up to you? That people laugh at you and your demands? That you accomplish very little in life? It’s because you are a liar. You would be amazed how much more Chiefs and City Leaders listen to you and make changes if you tell the truth. Liars are ignored and in most cases people react by doing the opposite of what liars ask for. You are the perfect example of people that are laughed at.

🙂 I laugh at you everyday. Can you hear me? Or if I smile at you in person do you see my insides laughing at you? 🙂

          1. @Reality Is Hamilton, aka Ffff tards, etc.,
You are a prime example of the arrogance that is so ubiquitous in law enforcement. You are not earning any respect on this blog. In fact, you are so desperate, and so pathetic, that I ALMOST feel sorry for you.

            1. Why thank you sir. You make me proud of my 25 years in law enforcement and people like you make me happy to do it for many more years.

              🙂

              1. Reality is that I become agitated at both sides of the Isles. A lot of these instances have to do with power and not your claims of truth. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Cops are needed yes but you are also the patsies of some of the most immoral criminals in history. Ok without arguing and taking any side. I like to think I see the entire picture but your pathetic attempt to romanticize truth in government was horrible. Cops are machines, and the longer in the buis, the more you change. Thats why you guys have high divorce rates and why most of you turn into alcoholics… Sulking in your miseries and realizations on how you hurt more than you helped (including your own families).

                1. If you had half an education, since when did Google start studying the psychological effects of the job? Google is a tech business guy. Why don’t you do some time in a war zone before you beat up another one of our citizens without remorse. You want to hurt people, go to Afghanistan.

                2. You know a war zone reality is, where if you act like a dick people are actually going to shoot back at you. A couple of fire fights in a combat zone will take that chip right off your shoulder and that’s reality buddy. The entire police training manual needs to be revamped and you guys need to be taught American history and who really runs this country. Its called WE THE PEOPLE. Not me the CHIEF.

                3. “Sulking in your miseries and realizations on how you hurt more than you helped (including your own families).”

LE has a high rate of Domestic Violence. Wonder why?

      2. @Reality Is Hamilton, aka Ffff tards, etc.,
I’m not surprised, in the least, to learn from you that Chiefs don’t listen. Afterall, none of the officers, or supervisors, listened to Kelly Thomas when he was screaming and begging, “I’m sorry! God! Help! Help! Dad! Dad! Dad! No officer, supervisor, or Chief tried to protect Kelly’s civil right to life, liberty and the persuit of happiness.

If Chiefs and officers won’t listen to a man who is begging for his life while they bludgeon him to death, I am fairly certain that they are all quite thoroughly deaf and completely lacking in morals. I don’t have much hope for the current batch of law enforcement or city leaders. Hence, the recall effort.

        1. @Reality Is Hamilton, aka Ffff tards, etc.,
The problem is that you don’t have any credibility. Everyone knows that you’d never pay up on your bets. You spend every last penny of your money on donuts, Starbucks, the Slimebarf, golfing, alimony and child support, and bailing your murdering cop friends out of jail.

          1. Again. You fail. I said place money in escrow. Keep grasping. Your lies and BS are so clear. You are worse than a racist.

        2. @Reality Is Hamilton, aka Ffff tards, etc. stated: “One incident is terrible, but 99% of the other contacts and incidents are outstanding. I’ll take those odds anyday.”

ONE “incident,” aka MURDER?? Surely, you jest. What you should have stated was that the brutal and vicious Kelly Thomas murder is the only murder that was seen, heard, and recorded, by many witnesses.

This was the ONE murder that could not quite be swept all the way under the FPD carpet. And, that certainly doesn’t take into account all of the sexual assaults, abuses, thefts, perjury, etc., etc.

You seem to have a very selective and poor memory regarding the extent, and severity, of FPD crimes. Maybe your Alzheimers is getting the best of you. Time to retire??

            1. @Reality Is Hamilton, aka Ffff tards, etc.,

Yes, I do keep dreaming -of a Fullerton Police Department with law enforcement officers who actually have true integrity, absolute honesty and genuine love and compassion for their fellow man.

I keep dreaming of a Fullerton Police Department with law enforcement officers who actually serve and protect ALL of the citizens, and not just their own brotherhood who are standing arm in arm, in the thin blue line.

I keep dreaming of a Fullerton Police Department who knows the difference between the “least amount of force necessary” and excessive force, abuse, torture and murder,-and who acts accordingly.

I keep dreaming of a Fullerton Police Department who actually can recognize the difference between a murdering cop who is intentionally bludgeoning an unconscious man to death, and an honorable cop who deserves respect.

I keep dreaming of a Fullerton Police Department who are honorable and who won’t tolerate, or cover up, the sexual or physical abuse of ANY person.

These are just a few of my dreams for Fullerton; I have many more.

Yes, I have a lot of dreams, but you’re probably correct that they won’t come true, -at least not until after you and most of the other Keystone Cops in Fullerton are long gone, retired, or behind bars. (That’s my very favorite dream.)

        1. Reality Is Hamilton, aka Ffff tards, etc., doesn’t know the difference between an “activist” and an “advocate.” Some day, (when he is in jail), he’ll be very surprised to find out who I really am. Until then, he can just keep wondering.

          1. I wouldn’t want to get anywhere near to you, dear. By the way, I don’t believe I put any words in your mouth, at all. I just stated my own opinion.

  43. Reality Is :I meant google the research projects that use actual stats, not google LOL

….so lets look at each officer…maybe you have to br a crminal to work there… or just know some one high up …psss crminal records are public records so read for your self……………………….as far as the kelly thomas’s parents getting a penny…. more crime,m they did not give a shit about their homeless son and even went as far to get a restraining order on him……our system is sooo pathetic….

    1. To FP’s comment: “as far as the kelly thomas’s parents getting a penny…. more crime,m they did not give a shit about their homeless son and even went as far to get a restraining order on him……”

Maybe in your opinion his parents don’t deserve a penny, however the PD and city NEED to undergo some “punitive” damages. The word punitive stems from the word ‘Punish’, which is what the city and PD need to get, because of what those cops did to Kelly Thomas.
      IMO, a $5,000,000.00 + settlement is a justifiable punishment.

As far as the Thomas family ‘not giving a shit’ about their son, that is nothing but an assumption on your part as well as some of the other cop trolls.

I happen to have a son, 18 years old w/some mental illness issues. He is often very childlike but warm-hearted even when off of his medication. However, he takes out his confusion, rage and anger on me and only me, his dad, who has been his only primary living caregiver for the past 13 years of his life.
Because of that, I do NOT hate my son and never will. I would like a break once in a while where he could live in possibly a group home temporarily, which would give ME a break from his raging moments.
Trust me Mr. Fullerton People, I’m certain the Thomas’ didn’t give up on Kelly; they got a restraining order on him because he did get a bit violent (with his petite mother). If he were to violate that restraining order, he would get arrested and more than likely a 72-hour psychiatric evaluation, which is what he NEEDED. Not a ‘death beatdown’ by some ‘out-of-control’ poorly trained cops. THAT was the reasoning for the restraining order; a legal tool to get him evaluatied.
You see, before my son turned 18, I being his primary guardian, could drive him to UCI, College Hospital, etc. and tell them he NEEDS to be admitted for an evaluation and they would do it; no questions aksed. Now that he’s 18, I no longer have that option. The mentally ill adult has to be ‘a danger to himself or others’ to be admitted.

You see once more, it is NOT easy caring for a mentally ill child when they become adults. Never has been, especially with the male gender.

I hope my message sunk in to you and others who have echoed your sentiments FP.
