Accessory to Commit Perjury
Last August supporters of Fullerton 4th District Council candidate, Democrat Vivian Jaramillo, created a fake “conservative” candidate to draw votes away from the person presumed to be Jaramillo’s principal opponent – Linda Whitaker. The candidate, Scott Markowitz, committed, and plead guilty to perjury.
It’s abundantly clear that at least one person helped phony candidate Scott Markowitz commit the perjury when he falsely swore that he collected his nominating signatures. How is it clear? Because at least one of his nominators told the District Attorney Todd Spitzer that it wasn’t Markowitz who got them to sign, it was someone else; either that or Markowitz himself volunteered the information, which isn’t likely since he was arrested and booked into the Santa Ana Jail.
Speculation is increasing and questions are still being asked, such as: what’s the name of the person or persons who suborned Marko’s perjury, and why hasn’t Spitzer prosecuted him/her/them? In fact, a Public Records Act request was recently made to Spitzer’s office to reveal the name of the person or persons involved in the Markowitz case.

Back in the fall, suspicion fell immediately on a guy named Ajay Mohan, a former Democrat operative who held Markowitz’s hand at the City Clerk’s office while picking up nominating materials. But could Mohan have known any of the nominators well enough to get them to sign the papers of a MAGA-sounding candidate?

Some folks behind the scenes put early money on creepy and desperate Councilman Ahmad Zahra, the immigrant marriage fraudster and serial prevaricator. Then attention turned to the equally seedy Aruni Thakur, the guy who tried to get elected to the Fullerton City Council in 2020 in a district he didn’t live in. Both are well-known local Democrat office holders who would have been familiar to the Democrat nominators like our old friend Diane Vena. Hey, what about Jesus Quirk-Silva, the dim-witted ex-councilman and husband of wannabe king/queenmaker, Assemblycreature Sharon Quirk?
Recently a new front runner has emerged, a chap named Andre Charles. Charles revels in the lofty title of President of the North Orange County Democrats club. His wife, the self-important, wordy, and ingratiating gasbag, Shana Charles, is on the City Council. Charles had both the motive and the means to sucker local Dems to nominate Markowitz in absentia. Indeed, several nominators of the faux Trumpy Markowitz are members of Charles’ Democrat club. Hmm.

So what was the result of the PRA request? Predictably, the DA’s office isn’t answering, saying they don’t have to – the records are confidential even in closed cases. But if no other crimes were committed, then who cares, right? Yet the response from some guy named Wayne Philips in the DA’s office does include this tidbit:

Is this merely a boiler plate brush-off, or is some investigation really still underway? Personally, I doubt any investigation is going on, but if I were one of the perps involved I’d still be a little nervous. There are probably lots of weak links in the chain of this scandal, and even Spitzer may be induced to do his job if evidence he is now suppressing is published.
How did Jesus Quirk-Silva, the ambulance chaser Aaruni Thakur, and Professor Doctor MD Ahmad get to hang out with Italian actor and comedian Roberto Benigni? Without screen magic, film editing, and makeup, he looks odd.
Shana says, once you go Italian, you never go back.
Subornation to perjury. Looks like it’s a felony that carries a few years in state prison. Hope Shana Charles likes driving to the state prison in Lancaster.
Chino.
Cow shit babe
I think they all knew about it, but my money is on Andre Charles. I mean, just look at him.
It was Andre Charles.
If California State Attorney General, Rob Bonta, steps in, besides those poor individuals who were coerced into signing Marko’s nomination papers, Spitzer may be charged with obstruction of justice. The fact that Spitzer’s office has refused to disclose information about the case, despite the guilty plea and evidence of wrongdoing, raises serious questions about his commitment to upholding the law. As the investigation continues to unfold on it’s own, by 4F, it’s likely that more evidence will come to light, and those involved in the scandal should be nervous. The people of Fullerton deserve answers, and it’s time for Spitzer to do his job and hold those responsible accountable.
“As the investigation continues to unfold on it’s own, by 4F”. Ha! Name one case you guys investigated and proven to be the victor?
Markowitz, Part 1.
Remember me, Kelly Thomas?

If only Tony Rackaukas had done his job and prosecuted me for perjury when I was caught red-handed by 4F, my life would be vastly different today. I would have been spared the burden of becoming the Mayor of Anaheim, and I wouldn’t be facing the very real possibility of trading in my suit for a jumpsuit. It’s a shame that Rackaukas dropped the ball, because now I’m left to deal with the consequences of my own actions.
It’s a travesty, really. The wheels of justice in Orange County are notoriously slow, and it seems that they only start turning when it’s too late. If Rackaukas had acted sooner, I might have been able to avoid this whole mess. But alas, it seems that fate had other plans. Now, I’m left to ponder what could have been if only the district attorney had done his job.
Oh, the nostalgia is almost overwhelming. I can almost hear the sound of my own perjury charges being read out loud, and the sweet taste of justice being served. Alas, it was not meant to be. Instead, I got to enjoy a stint as the Mayor of Anaheim, and now I get to enjoy the thrill of potentially going to jail. It’s a wild ride, folks, and I’m just along for the ride.
So here’s to Tony Rackaukas: thanks for nothing, Tony. Your inaction has led to a lifetime of excitement and adventure for me. I hope you’re happy with yourself.

Andre, you can run, but you CAN NOT HIDE! Hahaha
The spirit of the law comes a haunting.
Jail Diane Vena! Crazy cat lady needs to do hard time for betraying public trust.
Until Kitty Cannabis, Zahra, Charles, or all of the above are in jail, justice has not been served.
You mean Councilperson Shana Charles is married to the person who ran Kitty Jaramillo’s campaign? And she didn’t know that he was an accessory to perjury? That’s hard to believe. Oh, gotta go. Someone is calling. Must be on redial.
Maybe the Fullerton Observer can investigate this matter. Saskai, there’s a story for you to break. Come on now, go get it girl, you can get the scoop before it’s too late.
Shana Charles just can’t shut her yap:
Mayor Protem Dr. Shana Charles spoke during the meeting, saying, “I didn’t have the chance to make my comments after our marathon meeting last time, so I will share a few thoughts that are leftover. First, I would like to acknowledge that we are on Tongva and tribal lands. I believe incorporating this acknowledgment into our council meetings is important. Reflecting on my time as mayor, I regret not considering this earlier, and I will make it a point to include it in my future council comments.
“I also want to recognize the hard work of our former Administrative Director, Ellis Chang, who moved into a new position after many years of service. She skillfully led us through challenging budgetary difficulties, and I want to thank her for her efforts.
“On a positive note, happy Women’s History Month! Although we are already about halfway through the month, I appreciate this occasion. I also want to acknowledge the Fullerton Museum Center for hosting a wonderful Women’s Festival. Unfortunately, I could not attend this year due to being out of town, but I heard it was amazing, and I have already marked my calendar for next year. Additionally, Pride Month is coming up on June 7th, so I encourage everyone to save that date as well.
“I want to commend the staff and the Museum Center for two pieces of fantastic news: first, the housing element that we worked so hard on and that took many months, even years, to complete, has been accepted by the state. This is a significant achievement that we should celebrate! Secondly, we are planning to have fireworks for the Fourth of July celebration. While I don’t know the specifics yet, I am eager to hear from the staff regarding our budget and preparations. I know they are working diligently to address council concerns and collaborate with the organization that manages our fireworks display. I remember being the only one at midnight on New Year’s Eve, and I hope that moving our event to 9:00 PM on the Fourth will encourage more people to attend. I am really looking forward to celebrating this year!
“As we head into spring break, I can hardly believe how quickly this year is passing—it feels like it has already lasted three years! I want to encourage everyone to enjoy the nice weather and the outdoors. We’ve been discussing bicyclists, and we all must pay attention to our surroundings while out and about in the city. I urge drivers to slow down and not treat our roads like freeways. As the year progresses, we will keep working to make our roads safer for everyone.
“I look forward to my continued involvement in commission meetings, and I’m excited that the active transportation committee will be rebooting tomorrow night after a long absence.
“I’d like to invite anyone who hasn’t heard yet – to join me for my City Hall office hours, which are held on Thursdays from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. You are welcome to come in and talk to me, call me, or email me, and I promise to get back to you. I will also be out in the community at the end of this month in Chapman Park. We have a flyer available with my schedule for the year, and you can find it posted online as well. Please feel free to connect with me on Facebook or Instagram. Additionally, I will be sending out my council newsletter later this week, which will include updates on what we have accomplished and some useful information for our community.
“Lastly, I’ll also be attending the mosquito vector control district meeting, and I will provide a report on that next month. Thankfully, it has been very quiet, but as a reminder, please avoid having standing water around your home as you do your gardening and planting. I look forward to seeing everyone in April!”
Of course she can’t. What you see is what you get and you ain’t seen nothing yet!
I never understood the “pride” thing. If being gay isn’t a choice then what is there to be proud about? How can you be proud of a biological fact?
It’s like saying I’m proud to be left handed. I’m proud I have red hair. I’m proud I have thick ankles.
It was a sweltering summer evening when the whispers began to circulate like a wildfire through the city’s underbelly. The Sons of Anarchy, a notorious motorcycle club, had allegedly joined forces with a mysterious group known as the “Sons of Odin,” a cult-like organization comprised of individuals born with a rare congenital condition – only one eye.
The rumor claimed that these two unlikely allies were humbly requesting that the city fly their own flag during the month of July, a time when the nation typically comes together to celebrate its founding. But this wasn’t just any ordinary flag – it was said to be a symbol of rebellion, of resistance, and of the unyielding struggle that these individuals had faced their entire lives.
The Sons of Anarchy had been secretly meeting with the Sons of Odin in an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of Fullerton, where they would gather around a burning pyre and recite ancient oaths of loyalty and defiance. They spoke of the struggles they had faced, of the marginalization and the exclusion, and of the desperate need for recognition and acceptance.
Their flag, emblazoned with a single, glowing eye, was said to hold mystical powers – the ability to see beyond the veil of societal norms and to uncover the hidden truths that lay beneath. It was a beacon of hope for those who felt like outcasts, like misfits, and like warriors in a world that often seemed determined to crush their spirits.
As the city prepared to celebrate its founding, the Sons of Anarchy and the Sons of Odin made a heartfelt plea to Fullerton city officials: to fly their flag on the flagpole outside city hall during the month of July, alongside the national colors and the other symbols of pride and identity. They asked that their flag be given the same respect and recognition as the rainbow flag, the flag of the LGBTQ+ community, which proudly waves during the month of June.
They argued that their struggle, too, was a struggle for equality, for acceptance, and for the freedom to be themselves without fear of persecution or judgment. They pointed out that the city’s diversity and inclusivity policies should extend to all individuals, regardless of their physical characteristics or their lifestyle choices.
The Sons of Anarchy and the Sons of Odin urged the city to take a stand for inclusivity and diversity, to recognize the value and worth of all individuals, regardless of their background or their circumstances. They asked that their flag be flown as a symbol of hope, of resilience, and of the unbreakable human spirit.
They too deserve to fly their flag on the flagpole outside city hall during the month of July, as a reminder that everyone deserves to be seen, to be heard, and to be respected. Will the city answer their call, or will they be ignored, and forced to remain in the shadows? Only time will tell.
“Thick ankles” for the win!
So some respect! Those cankles belong to a dancing queen.
If her husband is involved in the Markowitz scam, can Shana even run again?
Don’t forget Quirk sank over 5K into the S.S. Jaramillo Cruise so hubby Jesus Quirk-Silva had a motive to protect that investment.
