The Lorri Galloway Residency Comedy Rolls Along
At the WAND candidate forum the other day Lorri Galloway asserted that she has lived in our district for seven months.
Not quite right. According to her voter registration she only started carpetbaggin’ the 4th District a mere 5 months ago. So who cares? She’s a politician and they just love to fuzz up the facts.
But wait. The really fun fact is that she began her so called 4th District residency by “living” in Anaheim’s O-P zone – on the corner of Lincoln Avenue And East Street. And even if she did actually reside there, which is extremely doubtful, that residency was illegal per Anaheim’s zone code; she was busted (by us) in January and she had to “move.” So even if the most credulous person believes that she is now actually living in the “5 Points” area, she’s only been a legal resident of the 4th District for a couple of months.
Hard to escape the facts.
She spent her first two months in the district breaking the law – of her own city!
Hey, lighten up Joe! Lorri represents a different kind of resident, and her needs must be met!
What else could one expect from an elected in Pringletown.

This is ridiculously juvenile to even think, but someone pointed out that her signs look like a Realtor’s ad. I now cannot pass the stupid things without thinking, “Galloway: For All Your Real Estate Needs.”…with all apologies to my Realtor friends. because frankly I would not buy ANYTHING from her. What a piece of work.
I thought about those signs, too – and the ego behind them.
I have also thought about Sidhu’s use of “Harry” to downplay his ethnicity. My wife is actually really turned off by “Harry” for the obvious homophonic reasons. This might be an interesting topic for a post.

I agree that could be kind of a negative. But as you said they are obviously avoiding using Sidhu’s last name.
Another day, another lie.
I would stay focused on their dishonesty and incompetency, rather than focus on their marketing strategy. Of course Harry uses Harry rather than Sidhu because he is strategically smart to do so. And frankly, Galloway takes an attractive picture. It’s her greatest strength. A close lady friend of mine watched Galloway make an entrance at Sharon Quirk’s event at Steamer’s and said it was remarkable to watch her play to the men and essentially ignore the women.
Looking at that photo, which I assume you lifeted from her website, I think that is the backof Richard Chavez’ head…
She has NO PRESENCE in Fullerton, La Habra or Placentia at all.

As I have written before, the Anaheim voters should be embarassed by their actions in electing such an incompetent individual to their city council. Now it is up to the voters of the 4th Supervisorial District to deny this individual further gratification and self-aggrandizement by denying her the 4th Supervisorial District seat. Galloway is another word for incompetence; Let Anaheim deal with her at the appropriate time (her next run for re-election to the city council). 4th District voters need to step up to the plate and ask themselves the most important question-in a time of fiscal and economic uncertainty, can you afford to elect an incompetent individual such as Galloway to the OC Board of Supervisors? The answer is most obvious: NO
I believe they have term limits in Anaheim. If so this could be the last shot for Galloway and Sidhu.
Joe, thanks for the headsup. I think that you will agree that, whether she is termed out or not, 4th Supervisorial District voters need to vote resoundingly against Galloway for all the reasons outlined by 4F writers and posters. A strong no vote (a vote for someone other than Galloway) will send a unique and distinctive message to Galloway. Career as a candidate marked by a record of incompetence as a member of the Anaheim City Council and a vacuous policy platform as a candidate for the 4th Supervisorial District seat is over.
Joe, you are right. There are term limits in Anaheim. Galloway is allowed a maximum of 8 years in office and would have to serve a period of 2 years out of office before she could run for the city council again.
Ah Chris..thanks for the insight on the Steamers event. Wish I were there, it is always a pet peeve of mine to be ignored by any political figure but when it is the same sex..totally unacceptable. Boo for her..and her slutty behavior..and let us hope that the men were not fooled or impressed by her “flirting”.

Could someone elaborate a little on her alleged incompetence.
How about this: after she got busted on Lincoln she tried to weasel out by saying she had checked out the address with the Registrar of Voters – instead of her owm Planning Department! Obviously ignorant of the same laws she applies to others and to lazy/ignorant/stupid to check on it herself!
Why make a big deal that her legal residency was only 5 months ago.
How is her a carpetbaggin any different than you wanting her kicked on a technicality. Can’t have it both ways.
She’s lived in Anaheim Hills for close to 30 years. I’d say she has credible residency wouldn’t you?

And what happened at the Steamers event?
As a sitting member of the Anaheim City Council for a lengthy period of time, she is intimately familiar with the Planning Department and deals with planning issues that come before the city councilfor final action. That also includes land use issues and decisions. For her to say that she checked with the COUNTY Registrar of Voters rather than the City of Anaheim Planning Department illustrates that this is more than incompetance but a great deal of deceit by her and the property owner Taormina

You miss the major point here…..THE COUNTY IS DIVIDED INTO SUPERVISORIAL DISTRICTS. TO BE AN ELIGIBLE CANDIDATE YOU MUST RESIDE IN THAT DISTRICT FOR A MINIMUM PERIOD OF TIME. EACH DISTRICT IS COMPOSED OF A NUMBER OF MUNICIPALITIES. THE BASELINE HERE IS THAT RESIDING IN THE DISTRICT INDICATES A STRONG FAMILIARITY WITH THE ISSUES FACING THE MUNICIPALITIES IN THAT SPECIFIC DISTRICT.
RULES ARE RULES. SHE DIDNT LIVE IN THE DISTRICT AND MADE VERY CLUMSY AND STUPID AND CERTAINLY ILL ADVISED DECISIONS (NOT NEW FOR HER) TO MOVE INTO THE FOURTH DISTRICT. ASIDE FROM HER PERSONAL AND BUSINESS INCOMPETANCE, HER POLITICAL INCOMPETANCE IS MOST STRIKING.
